It's Festival time!

The Festival's season is just around the corner for Goblin.

From the 22nd to the 27th of August will be held in Nettuno the "Italian Horror Fest" that will host special guests like Eli Roth, Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava and Ruggero Deodato. (New) Goblin will perform on Aug. 27 in Piazzetta San Rocco: the show will last more than two hours and the band will play for the first time ever some new songs from the forthcoming album. The concert (free!) will be open by The Ratzingirls, the all female band in which plays Gulia 'Lollydolly' Lolli, the current Simonetti’s girlfriend.

From September 2 to 4 the small town of Veruno will host the "two days prog + 1". The cast includes Anathema, Maxophone, RPW and many other bands. The (New) Goblin’s concert will be preceded by the exhibitions of Il Tempo delle Clessidre and Arti & Mestieri (with special guest Mel Collins and David Cross, both ex-King Crimson) and will be held in the Piazzetta della Musica. All the shows at The Veruno Prog Fest are free!

In Rome from September 6 to 11 will be the turn of the "Progressivamente Festival", that will host (among others) Three Friends (ex Gentle Giant), Le Orme, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso (the two bands will also perform together for the last 30 min. of the show for a ‘finale’ that promises fireworks) and Locanda delle Fate. In addition to the concerts are planned many interesting exhibitions and meetings. The 8th of September Goblin Rebirth will open for the reformed Murple and the ticket’s price is 15 euros.
I'm sure that the Three Friends concert will see the presence in the audience of Maurizio Guarini and Fabio Pignatelli, great fans of the legendary Gentle Giant...

A lot of rumors are surrounding the second edition of "Prog Exhibition" the festival that last year has achieved a huge success (also documented on CD / DVD) with an audience from all over the world. This year the event will be held in Rome - October 22 and 23 - at the Teatro Tendastrisce. The cast is still top secret (at the time the only bands 'almost' certain are Biglietto per l’Inferno. folk and Saint Just Again).
A wonderful opportunity for the (New) Goblin to present ‘live’ the new album.....
